Save money on your mobile!

As the title suggest, this blog post is specifically aimed to help you save money on your phone contract. This is based on sim only contracts and no contracts that include a phone as part of the deal!

Everyone that knows me knows I promote the hell out of this company. The Reason why? It’s so bloody cheap! The chances are you won’t find a company that offer the same rates that are actually real and that you can trust. Take a look at the comparison between giffgaff and other MAJOR UK mobile networks.

So when it gets to 59 mins, hang up and redial, Simple!

Along with the cheap standard rates, giffgaff also offer goody bags, Check them out at http://giffgaff.com/goodybags!

Dropbox Tips

So I often have people asking me how I managed to get my FREE Dropbox account up to 15gb. So here are a few tips I used to get that amount of space!

Share the service with your friends

Free Dropbox accounts can earn up to 8 GB of extra storage (at 500 MB per referral) by simply referring friends to the service. Your affiliate link is available to you through Dropbox.com and it’s encouraged for you to share your affiliate link on social networks, blogs, and other public pages people might frequent. While this is a clever marketing ploy on the part of Dropbox, it does allow you to get up to 10 GB on a free account.

Take a course at a college or uni

If you have an .edu account (or similar education email address - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). Even if you didn't sign up with Dropbox using your .edu, you can still verify the address with Dropbox through the education page once you’re logged in.

Also, being an .edu customer gives you a much higher ceiling on the amount of referral bonuses you can apply to your account. For example, a basic student account can reach a bonus limit of 16 GB.

Take part in a magical quest

Dropbox has a list of quests that you can take part in for additional storage space. These quests are usually very easy to solve, requiring very little effort on your part. Simply taking a tour, adding a file to your Dropbox folder, and inviting a friend (whether they accept or not) can earn you 250 MB of additional space.

These three methods is how I managed to get the 15.8gb I have so far and what will help me get to the limit of 20gb, all for free on a free account!
