***IF YOU HAVE APPLIED PLEASE EXPECT A REPLY SOON (UPDATED 31 MAY)***
Do you want to join the UK's fastest growing online radio station? The Mix Radio is looking for new people (both males and females) to work along the existing presenting team at the station.
The Mix Radio has no fixed studio which means we can have presenters from all over the UK. To give you an insight to The Mix Radio if you're not sure whether to join, we broadcast to approximately 127 countries per week and play upbeat, current chart music as well as obscure European dance music (often not heard on UK radio) and a mix of music from the '90s and Noughties.
If you're a committed individual, passionate about radio and music then read on further to apply.
Please read the following information carefully before applying for The Mix Radio.
You must be aged 15 or over to apply and you must be confident behind a microphone, you must have music which has been purchased legally and also suitable for radio play (I.E: contains NO swearing or profanity).
If you are chosen as a presenter for The Mix Radio, we ask all of our DJs to contribute a small amount of money every month to cover the running of the station and licensing costs and we will ask you for a fee upon joining.
You are required to stick with your slots each week, be punctual and also cover any shows that may need covering outside of your time slot. Please do not waste our time by applying if you can not committ.
If you CAN NOT or DO NOT want to contribute then do not apply.
Current Vacancies (Updated 31st May 2010)

What do you need to present on The Mix Radio?
The Mix Radio has no fixed studio which means we can have presenters from all over the UK, but this does mean you need a few simple pieces of equipment for the job; a microphone, playout software and if possible a mixer. Once accepted, if you need help finding the right equipment for you we'd be more than happy to help.
Interested?
Record a short 30 second to 1 minute demo to show what you could bring to the existing team here at
The Mix Radio and e-mail it along with your contact details to careers [at] themixradio.co.uk.
Tip: When recording a demo, doing intros to tracks is great, but playing the tracks in full really isn't. We want to hear you, not the music!
We'll get back to you as soon as we can and who knows, you could be presenting on The Mix Radio soon! You may not be what we are looking for, so please do not be offended if we reject your application.
