STATION HISTORY

The Mix Radio launched in February 2009 and since then, we've grown to be one of the UK's well known online radio stations. Since March 2011, we moved in to new premises in Diss, Norfolk where we share studio space with local station Park Radio.

We are one of only a handful of fully licensed internet radio stations in the UK by PPL and PRS For Music.

All shows on The Mix Radio are unique and can not be heard anywhere else and they're all produced by us "in house" too with the added exception of Keith T's Saturday Night Shakedown which is produced and broadcast from the studios of Oxfordshire's Jack FM.

The Mix Radio is a voluntary organisation meaning everyone you hear on the station presenting or running the station work for free, for the love of radio and for the love of the listeners and the music. Their commitment is paid back in spades by the listeners who once on board tend to stick to the station.

The Mix Radio is proud to have achieved our highest ever listening figures since launch. In August 2011, we have more people listening to us on a weekly basis and hundreds of new people listening to us over a year*
